Pavel Štourač

Artistic Director, Continuo Theatre
interviewed 8 October 2016 in Malovice —

When it was founded in 1992, in the small Czech village of Malovice, Continuo Theatre's goal was to make work for people living in the local area. They wanted to do the counterintuitive thing, outside of the mainstream, and have stuck with it. Today the company is still in Malovice, living and working in a converted farmhouse, and producing experimental and physical theatre for audiences from the village and nearby areas. They also work in abandoned factories, brownfields and the countryside, and run a number of workshop and training programmes.
